We're still in the process of re-writing pages to bring the site up to the latest web coding standards. Some pages may look slightly odd whilst this exercise is ongoing, particularly if you are using Internet Explorer 6 or earlier. Re-coded pages can be identified by the W3C logo at the base of the right-hand column - normally just under the "Email your comments" box.

The NBS has quietly re-launched its website at www.thenbs.com with a new look and, hopefully, easier access to all the NBS services. It's well worth a look.

RIBA INITIATIVES

In today's RIBA Practice Bulletin No.405 the RIBA announces plans to start wiki-based "Knowledge Communities" as part of their Five Year Plan. We'll obviously be keeping a watchful eye on this initiative after our less-than-100%-successful experience of wiki systems but remember that ArchiMentor has over a years head start on the RIBA for online collaborative knowledge-sharing.
